CHARLESTON, SC, June 8, 2021— Thomas & Hutton (T&H) is pleased to announce the following new hires in its Charleston office.
Charles Hill joined Thomas & Hutton’s Civil Department as a designer. He is a Mount Pleasant native and earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina in December of 2020. As a designer in the Civil Department, Charles’ responsibilities include assisting the project team with design and plan production for a wide variety of civil site development projects in the tri-county area. Currently, Charles is completing our T&H University Training, “Up and Ready”, and is learning Thomas & Hutton standards for plan production and design through completing engineering tasks on various industrial and commercial projects. Charles spends his free time working out, skateboarding, and playing the drums.
Ben Taylor joined Thomas & Hutton’s Civil Department as a designer. He is a graduate of Clemson University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. Ben worked as an intern with Charleston County Public Works Department where he assisted with stormwater projects. As a designer, he will assist the Civil Department with infrastructure design and the preparation of construction plans for new residential communities in the Charleston area. Outside of the office, Ben enjoys watching sports as well as spending time with family.
